[Just wanna say, if using a mouse, the dodge/burn/smudge technique is a pain in the ass, it's more suited to a tablet, and does get some VERY good results, especially when working in grayscale. It's better suited for more complex shading, like the human body, etc.]

Hmm, I made this tutorial long ago before I got a tablet. I don't even use this method of shading anymore though ^^
